The 12 Universal laws
An extract from Milanovich and McCunes book "The Light Shall Set You Free"(1998).
1. The Law of Divine Oneness
The first out of the 12 universal Laws helps us to understand that we live in a world where everything is connected to everything else. Everything we do, say, think and believe affects others and the universe around us. 
2. The Law of Vibration 

This Law states that everything in the Universe moves, vibrates, and travels in circular patterns. The same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires, and wills in the Etheric world. Each sound, thing, and even thought has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself. 

3. The Law of Action 

The Law of Action must be applied in order for us to manifest things on earth. Therefore, we must engage in actions that support our thoughts, dreams, emotions and words. 

4. The Law of Correspondence 

This Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world - energy, Light, vibration, and motion - have their corresponding principles in the etheric or universe. "As above, so below" 

5. The Law of Cause and Effect 

This Universal Law states that nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws. Every action has a reaction or consequence and we "reap what we have sown." 

6. The Law of Compensation 

This Law is the Law of Cause and Effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships, and blessings. 

7. The Law of Attraction 

This Law demonstrates how we create the things, events, and people that come into our lives. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn, attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies. 

8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy 

This 8 out of the 12 universal Laws is a powerful one. It states that all persons have within them the power to change the conditions in their lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change. 

9. The Law of Relativity 

This Law states that each person will receive a series of problems (Tests of Initiation) for the purpose of strengthening the Light within. We must consider each of these tests to be a challenge and remain connected to our hearts when proceeding to solve the problems. This law also teaches us to compare our problems to others' problems and put everything into its proper perspective. No matter how bad we perceive our situation to be, there is always someone who is in a worse position. It is all relative. 

10. The Law of Polarity 

This Law states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations. 

11. The Law of Rhythm 

This Law states that everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God's universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting too excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness. 

12. The Law of Gender 

This last out of the 12 universal Laws states that everything has its masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) principles, and that these are the basis for all creation. The spiritual Initiate must balance the masculine and feminine energies within herself or himself to become a Master and a true co-creator with God

Karma is the law of cause and effect – an unbreakable law of the universe. Your actions create your future. The reason your fate is never sealed is because you have free will. Therefore your future cannot already be written.  Life gives you chances. 

1.The Great Law: “As you sow, so shall you reap.”The simple explanation of the Great Law is: our thought and actions have consequences – good or bad. If we desire peace, love, harmony, prosperity, etc. we must be willing to act accordingly. Whatever we put into the universe will come back to us.
This is also known as the “Law of Cause and Effect.” Also, energy (thought, action) that we put into the world has a consequence, immediate or not.

2. The Law of Creation: “What we desire comes through participation.”The life we see around us was created by a person’s intentions. As we are one with the Universe, our intentions determine the evolution of creation. Since what we surround ourselves with becomes part of us, it’s our responsibility to ensure these surroundings are conducive to our desires. Life does not happen by itself.  We need to make it happen.

3. The Law of Humility: “Refusal to accept what is will still be what is.”Acceptance is a near-universal virtue in many belief systems. Simply put, we must first accept the present circumstances in order to change them.
In focusing on the negative instead of making changes to address the negative, we’re committing to a zero-sum result.  One must accept something in order to change it.

4.The Law of Growth: “Our own growth is above any circumstance.”
The only thing we have control over is ourselves. The subsequent action (or inaction) of motive will yield either positive or negative circumstances in our lives.
True change only occurs if we make the commitment to change what is in our heart.
When we change ourselves our lives follow suit and change too.

5. The Law of Responsibility: “Our lives are of our own doing, nothing else.”When there is turbulence in one’s own life, there is often turbulence internally. If we’re to change our life, we must change our frame of mind and surroundings. We must take responsibility for what is in our lives.

6. The Law of Connection: “Everything in the Universe is connected, both large and small.”Our past, present and future are all connected. As such, we must put in the work to change these connections if we desire something different.
No step – first, intermediate or last – is more important in the accomplishment of a task. All are required.  The past, present, an future are all connected.

7. The Law of Focus: “One cannot direct attention beyond a single task.”Relating to our spiritual growth, we cannot have negative thoughts or actions and expect to grow spiritually. We must direct full attention to achieve any desired task.  We cannot think of two different things at the same time.

8. The Law of Hospitality and Giving: “Demonstrating our selflessness shows true intentions.”Put simply: what we claim to believe must manifest into our actions. Selflessness is a virtue only if we’re accommodating something other than ourselves.
Without a selfless nature, true spiritual growth is nearly impossible.  Our behaviour should match our thoughts and actions

9. The Law of Change: “History repeats itself unless changed.”Conscious commitment to change is the only method of influencing the past. History will continue along an unconstructive path until positive energies direct it elsewhere. One cannot be present if they are looking backward.

10. The Law of Here and Now: “The Present is all we have.”Looking back regretfully and forward pointlessly robs oneself of a present opportunity. Old thoughts and patterns of behavior negate the present chance to advance ourselves.  History repeats itself until we learn from it and change our path.

11.  The Law of Patience and Reward: “Nothing of value is created without a patient mindset.”Toiling away cannot be circumvented through wishful thinking. Our rewards are claimed only through patience and persistence, nothing else.
Rewards are not the end-result. True, lasting joy comes from the knowledge of doing what’s necessary in the rightful anticipation of a reward that is well-earned.  The most valuable rewards require persistence.

12. The Law of Significance and Inspiration: “The best reward is one that contributes to the Whole.”The end result is of little value if it leaves little or nothing behind.
Energy and intentions are vital components that determine the significance of an end-result. Ideally, love and passion embody the motives of one that resolves to leave a lasting impression on the Whole.
Rewards are a direct result of the energy and effort put into it.

Many laws govern how we react and what comes to us, what we create and how we live our lives.  Tap into these laws to live the highest energy life.  Law of attraction states that everything that is ours is in the vortex.  Our energy field.  In order to bring it in we must be tapped in, tuned in and turned on.    Its the law ;)

Bullying is a major problem in our schools, workplaces, homes, and over the Internet. Over the month of February, CKNW aims to raise awareness of these issues through various initiatives centered around our
“Pink Shirt Day” campaign.
Today children, parents, and businesses all over Calgary took part in this initiative. 

As an overweight adult, having lived through the ridicule of being a fat child, I know the pain associated with bullying.  In fact, I am still healing the deep wounds it has caused me.  Although, now as a spiritual teacher, I understand the lesson, it doesn't negate my humaneness and the hurt that I have carried with me for my whole life.

I have come to recognize my wounded little girl and all the feelings of inadequacy.  I have felt unworthy my whole life because I didn't fit into the box- figuratively and physically.  I so wanted to be liked by everyone that I just put up with all the name calling.  I gave my power away.  I kept quiet.

But all is not lost.  Through a walk with cancer I woke up!  I learned that self-love is one of the keys to wellness!!!  I am loving myself madly, passionately and with courage and empathy for myself.  I am being kind to myself.  I have the best teachers and I am so grateful to God for sending them my way.  And I have the angels and the Goddesses that are helping me.  I love being kind.  Teach your kids.

On February 22, 2017 we encourage everyone to practice kindness, and wear a CKNW Orphans’ Fund Official Pink Shirt, button, or pin to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. While we wish we could take credit for this idea, Pink Shirt Day has its roots in Nova Scotia, started by two incredible high school students.
Here is a snippet of the Globe & Mail article that inspired CKNW Orphans’ Fund Pink Shirt Day:
“David Shepherd, Travis Price and their teenage friends organized a high-school protest to wear pink in sympathy with a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied [for wearing a pink shirt]…[They] took a stand against bullying when they protested against the harassment of a new Grade 9 student by distributing pink T-shirts to all the boys in their school. ‘I learned that two people can come up with an idea, run with it, and it can do wonders,’ says Mr. Price, 17, who organized the pink protest. ‘Finally, someone stood up for a weaker kid.’ So Mr. Shepherd and some other headed off to a discount store and bought 50 pink tank tops. They sent out message to schoolmates that night, and the next morning they hauled the shirts to school in a plastic bag. As they stood in the foyer handing out the shirts, the bullied boy walked in. His face spoke volumes. ‘It looked like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders,’ Mr. Price recalled. The bullies were never heard from again.”

Saturday is my Archangel Zadkiel day.  He is the Archangel of forgiveness, mercy and benevolence.
His name means  "Righteousness of God."
He helps with forgiveness of self and others, emotional healing, compassion, freedom, finding lost objects and memory.
His colour vibration is violet and his gemstone is amethyst.
To invoke his energy, just say: I now invoke the violet energy of Archangel Zadkiel. I ask you to surround me in your light of forgiveness and mercy.  Please help me forgive myself and all others so that I may lead with an open heart.  Help me release old pain and grief.  Help me connect to the love I am.  I am worthy of forgiveness.  I am forgiven.  And so it is.

We forgive because we deserve it.  We forgive because it sets us free.
To release old pain, a really good exercise to do is to write and burn the letter.  Say whatever you need to say. This letter is not to be sent.  It is for you only.  Always burn in a safe place.

Observed on February 17th, National Random Acts of Kindness Day has grown in popularity each year.  It is celebrated by individuals, groups and organizations nationwide to encourage acts of kindness all around the world.  Kindness is a gift we gift each-other.  It is a gift of love.

It is a favorite day for many, as people everywhere are enjoying doing these acts of kindness.  Not only is it positive for the receiver, but for the giver, too!

The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Week.  The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is an internationally recognized non-profit organization founded upon the powerful belief in kindness and dedicated to providing resources and tools that encourage acts of kindness.

In New Zealand, where this day originated, celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Day on September 1st.  It is also recognized by some on other days throughout the year; however, doing random acts of kindness is something that can be done every day of the year.

When I woke up today, it did not surprise me that I was inspired to write. 
Today is my Archangel Gabriel day and he is God's messenger angel. He helps us to communicate with truth.  He helps us write.  He helps us speak.
These are the days where I usually feel guided to do live video on FB.
But not this week. Nope. This week I am still walking through some old pain and grief.  I have a wicked virus and I feel like I have been hit by a bus.  But what I am grateful for is that I have amazing family, friends and teachers who are so supportive.  I am a tender heart.  I am human.   I love to work and play with angels, but I am no angel.  I am perfect to God but I am imperfect. I am a soul having this earth journey of mastering the 5 pillars of why we are here.  1. Unconditional love 2. Faith 3. Trust 4. Forgiveness 5. Compassion.  Life is an opportunity to practice these five principals.  The good old ego will try to keep us small and in fear and anger, but through the love of the Divine, forgiveness of self and through the power of gratitude you can heal.

Over this year, I have had to walk through a lot of self criticism.  I have been so hard on myself and I have had to turn that self criticism to self- love.  Working with Mother Mary has been instrumental in this.  Her healing quality is self- love.  She has taught me to fill up my cup first so that I can be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and human.  She also has taught me to only do things because I want to and not out of obligation vibration.  She is our Divine Mother and she has helped me heal this wound in my heart with these females in my life. I get the part that they are some of my greatest teachers.  Allowing them to affect me is the part that is up to me or not.  I must stay strong and continue on my journey.   I know I am growing my spirit.   I have a job to do and they are not a part of it.  One of my mentors helped me identify the wounded child I had within me.  She also helped me identify my mother martyr energy.  Through her mentorship I am healing that part of me that needed them to show up for me a certain way.  Now, becoming empowered and more of a woman, I realize that I have the help of legions of angels, ancestors and the love of family and friends who matter. And to whom I matter.  I matter!! That's right.  My worth is not dependant on what THEY think of me.  hmmm.. interesting right???  Totally an ahh-ha moment there.

Last year I had a growth spurt with those people who were close.  Even though I apologized three times, they decided to turn their backs on me.  You see I called them selfish, self-centred and self-absorbed.  They are.  But what I learned from Sunny is that people who are selfish teach us that we need to be more like them!  What you say?  YES!!  They teach us to put ourselves first.  But there is a way to do it correctly.  There is a way from your heart.  Then there is the way from the ego.  The ego says, no! How dare she say those things.  If they had been in their hearts they would have looked back at the over 30 years of kindness, love and energy I gave them.  That's ok.  God is watching.  God loves me and them.  I know that.

A Course in Miracles teaches to let go of grievances.  Only then are we truly the light of the world!  I know I am a shining light.  Walking through a human moment does not dim that light.  Even though sometimes it may feel like it.  I know that through the power of forgiveness, of self and others that I can become whole, perfect and complete.

Believing it though takes some work.  When there are family occasions and they choose not to come, it makes for unsettled family dynamics.  You see, now Paulo, Paulo jr and I know how important time is.  Walking through cancer, epilepsy, and a host of other life lessons has awoken us.  We get that not everyone is able to see from our perspective.
Ha!  The other day mom sent me a meme that said, turtles can't see from a giraffe's perspective.  I got what she meant.  We all see from our own view.  We only know what we know.  Because I am evolving, so are my men.  Sunny told me that would happen.  Energy is amazing like that.

Today, I am working again on forgiving myself.  The flu I got and the emotions behind it is this: vulnerable, tired, frail.  Overwhelmed by the negativity that surrounds you.  Feeling like you have to carry heavy burdens that you can't handle.  Feeling invalidated.  Confusion and chaos inside you.  In need of a 'time out". check.  check. check.  
The cold emotions are: scattered, too much to do, too many responsibilities, too much pressure to perform.  Refusing to listen to your body and slow down.  Feeling overwhelmed, overworked and worn out.  In need of time to yourself. Confused about what choices to make. Again, check. check. check. ( book image below)

Well!  All of this has made me turn within and listen.  I don't know what all the answers are but I do know I matter and in that vein I will pick myself up, brush myself off, take the hands of these amazing powerful women teachers of mine and I will rise like a phoenix from the ashes a better version of myself.  Because you better believe, I know God expected me to not fall down. His power and strength is within me.  As long as I have breath I have an opportunity to affect change and to teach from those parts of my journey that had the most pain.  That is how all the great teachers teach.  I am a part of them, they are a part of me and we are all a part of GOD!  Worthy! Valuable. Enough. We are the light of the world!!!
And with that light and this learning I am and I will SHINE brighter than ever before.  And with these same eyes of love I will send love to those people.  You see, they didn't see my love.  But I can continue to be Love.  That's what God wants of me and I love Him so much that I will do it.  Not for them, but for me.  And because it pleases the Lord.  Amen!

How happy I was to find out this day is a celebration of spring and of Goddess Brigit.   She is an amazing Celtic Goddess I got to know in my level one- Higher Priestess Practitioner course with Velva Dawn. (copyright) Her healing quality is Self-Dignity.

With this beautiful Goddess I have learned to speak my truth.  She can help you in this area too!  I never honoured my inner voice in a healthy way.  I used to scream and yell and it was upsetting for everyone.  I was my own worst critic.  I judged myself so very harshly.  

This Goddess helps us with our trust in others.  I realize I am in a fire-cycle of my life and she helps me find the balance and calm.  A fire-cycle of life is when we release and burn away old patterns.  She assists me to use water to calm this cycle and brings me back to a state where I can be open to receive.  I certainly can feel this as I am passionate about creating with my writing and my new spiritual business. I have a lot of energy and often don't want to sleep.

I have been able to become a stronger speaker by standing in my power and speaking my truth with so much love.  I am doing way less out of obligation and instead with an open heart.  I am earning respect of my family, friends and peers because of this shift.

I am healing more  through my writing and have now written in 9 multi author compilations.  I am so proud to say 3 are Amazon #1 best sellers!!  
I have learned that there is deep wisdom in all of the wounds of the past and I am now a thriver and a survivor rather than a victim of cancer.  With the help of my many beautiful teachers and this Goddess I know I can continue to heal my life and help empower others.  After all the journey on earth is about progress and not perfection.

I found it really interesting that this Goddess represents the 3 parts of a woman's life.  The young virgin, the loving mother and the wise woman(crone).  These are the qualities that women go through during their lives.  She accumulates wisdom during all these stages.  I feel I am in the loving mother stage still.  I am gaining wisdom and I am becoming better and better.  

When a client receives this card, it may mean that you have been holding back in speaking truth and belief that by not speaking you won't rock the boat so to speak.  But physically you are creating a block in the throat chakra area which could lead to dis-ease in that area.

Affirm:  I am lovingly able to express my innermost thoughts to all without fear of judgement and self doubt. My inner voice is honoured with love, strength, compassion, wisdom with others who may learn from my words and experiences.  My communication originates from the highest dimensions of one.
