The Angels wanted me to talk about RETREATS this week.  When you are feeling tired and sleep is of no help, then your soul is longing to grow and a retreat will help.  A retreat often takes you to a sacred space where you connect to Source in nature and allow Mother Earth to carry you for a time.  
The angels say when you are tired or feeling low, they can help you prop up so that you return to your natural state of wellness, joy and vitality!  They say get out doors and into nature. Rest your eyes, breathe in the fresh air and call upon them to help you.  Archangel Raphael is ready to assist you to elevate your energy.  They remind us that this is like going to a spa and receiving a treatment!  Anytime you allow yourself to receive the love of nature you will feel your energy increase.  Tiredness and exhaustion comes from an imbalance in giving and receiving.  

Every being needs to recharge after making so many contributions to society .
Allow God, the angels, mother nature and mother earth to help you replenish and rejuvenate your soul, mind and body.

Affirm:  I will honour my body.  Relaxation is necessary.  I must rest and retreat in order to fill up with positive energy and continue on my path.

To connect with Mother Earth is as necessary as breathing.  It is vital for optimum health and vitality.  Grounding with Mother Earth allows us to release energies to the earth and also allows us to connect to her healing energy.

How to ground your self to Mother Earth
The purpose of Grounding is to connect to the earth. When you are grounded you are more calm, relaxed, patient, happy, light hearted, focused and your energy can not be drained from you. If you have too much energy flowing into you, ground that energy to earth and it will flow through you, instead of being stuck in you. 
There are many ways to do it. If you are out doors, on grass, sand, dirt or water. Take your shoes off and walk barefoot for a couple minutes . You will be grounded. Grounding means you are physically & mentally grounded to Mother Earth. 
If you are in doors: Close your eyes. Take some deep breaths, and picture your feet. See roots coming out the bottom of your feet, going down  straight into the earth ,and imagine them as deep as you can.

Make sure to GROUND each day!

This week the angels guided me to provide some insight and awareness and love.   They wanted me to share this- ENJOY LOVE DAY.  Today let's dedicate to love! We angels guide you to intend that this day is all about LOVE.  We want you to honour this very important emotion.  Put your focus on caring.  Start with you!  Express your feelings to your friends and family, and act kindly toward yourself. and all others.

Experience the many ways that is quality shows itself, in all its various colours and forms.  Revel in this celebration and that you make an important role in making every day one of love.

Affirm:  I allow myself to experience love, and I easily express it to others.  I treat myself with care and notice this feeling all around me.  The more I find it, the more it finds me.

I am very blessed to have a mentor/spiritual advisor.  In the fall of 2017, I went to a retreat in Sedona.  After burning our masks we were invited to decide, "not one more time!"  What that means is to proclaim to ourselves that not one more time would we ( insert decision).  This means to love yourself enough to make a choice to honour you!   You deserve better than what you have been giving yourself and what you have been allowing yourself to receive!

In my 53 years of life I had never done that for myself.  I don't know if it was the amazing group of ladies, the environment, my teacher, the team of support, however something clicked in me and I said " not one more time will I allow others to treat me less than I deserve!"  My mentor's team held frongs of bamboo over us as we crossed over a creek.  As we crossed we stated our intentions. I have allowed a lot of stuff over the years.  I didn't have appropriate boundaries.  I didn't maintain or protect my energy. I used to use my voice in an unhealthy way with screaming!  I was a reactionary mess.
-  I intended not one more time would I allow anything less than I deserved and as I crossed I meant it! I decided right then and there I would no longer take abuse of any kind. I came home empowered and decided that was it! I had to release all kinds of people from my life.  I had to stop going to places that didn't nurture me, and I had to stop crying about people who didn't love me any more.  I had to do what was best for me.  It has been a process and here we are almost two years later and I am learning, growing, healing and expanding my life.  My friends are kinder and gentler and are like me.  My teachers are the best on the planet.  The communities I hang out in are supportive.  

I now recognize I am a great blessing to the world.  I now know that other people's opinion of me really doesn't matter.  What they think is about them and not about me.  I now know that God created me perfect whole and complete on a soul level and on a human level I am a work in progress.
