Prayers- for the last few days I have been strongly guided to share about prayer. I believe that prayers are the answer to everything. Prayers change things. Prayer changes EVERYTHING! I have personally experienced prayers in my life. I believe in prayer with my entire BE-ing. I know how safe I have felt knowing that my mom, friends and family were praying for me. During the darkest times of my life, it has been my belief in God and prayer that has allowed me to get up from the depths of darkness and despair and believe in hope and Grace and TRUST. I do Trust God. I have faith that he has my back and that His Holy Angels are watching over me.
Prayers ask the Divine for support. There is no prayer that is wrong and there is no such thing as doing it wrong. Talking to the Divine is always listened to and answered always come. The thing is this, the answers often don't come in the way you expect. In fact, we are taught to surrender control and the how to God and the angels. They know our highest and greatest good. The will provide the answers. It is up to us to stay awake and in tune to our intuition and signs that they send so that we are then motivated to take inspired action to bring in the answers to our prayers. We are also taught to watch for the helpers. Being open to receive is a big part of answered prayers. IF you keep your arms closed and aren't willing to have others help, then how do you expect the help to arrive> Prayer is an invocation (asking for help) that seeks to activate and cultivate a relationship with God. Prayer seeks to develop a relationship with an object of worship through deliberate communication. It is an intercession directed to God, Goddess, Angels, Saints and loved ones in spirit. It is a spiritual communion with God. I was born and raised Catholic. I still consider myself a Catholic, although staunch religious folk would consider me a BAD Christian. I do not believe that for one second!! I believe that God loves me and I believe in myself and my own intuition to connect to God each day and that I am being guided by the Holy Spirit in my life. I have sat with God so many times and asked for His love and guidance and each time I feel His loving energy around me and supporting me to do the work I do. I call it work, however I know it is my soul mission. I do prayers as my Act of Service to God. I always pray when someone asks me and when I am called upon to pray. When I was sick and crying out to God, WHY ME? I heard in my head ( and no I am not mentally ill.. lol) "Why not you Giuliana?" I said " Ok God, if why not me, then I need help!! I need so much help to heal and I need teachers to help me! " I began to awaken my intuition and I began to follow my signs. These signs took me to Sedona, Phoenix, Toronto, Vancouver, Banff, Lake Louise and right here at home too. I found teachers and that saying, when the student is ready, the teachers appear is so so true. I love each and every one of my teachers. They have helped me dig deep. Sometimes it has been so incredibly hard, however with prayer I keep getting through it with Grace and ease. I know that Divine Grace is flowing always and in all ways. I want to be carried in Grace and experience my lessons gently, so I continue to pray. In the Catholic church, we have 5 types of prayers. 1. Prayers of adoration and blessing 2. Prayers of contrition and repentance 3. Prayers of thanksgiving and gratitude 4. Prayer of supplication, petition and intercession 5. Prayers of confession. Prayer is talking to God with your hands. As children in catechism we were taught to establish prayer as a habit and for me it has stuck with me to this day. God wants us to know Him. God answers our prayers. God loves us and we in turn love God through prayer. To learn how to pray: T A L K to God.
CONFESS means to get the junk out of your life. It is when you ask for forgiveness and know that you are forgiven. It is saying, "I am sorry!" READ means to read the bible which helps us see ourselves as a mirror. It helps us understand who we are and who God is. ASK is to ask for help. It is said, ask and thee shall receive. Also in Mathew 21:22 it says that, "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Pray for others, pray for yourself and ask for God to provide for you and others. Ask for wisdom and patience and understanding and compassion. THANKS - it is said if the only prayer you ever say is THANK YOU and it is enough. Be grateful for your life. You will receive more to be grateful for. Some people have asked me "Giuliana, how do we start to pray?" and this easy FIVE FINGER PRAYER is a very easy way to remember how and what to pray for.
God says that there are five main areas of a pray filled life. He says that we must have trust and faith in Him and we must forgive ourselves and others, we must be compassionate and we must strive to be unconditionally loving as He is. He wants us to get to know His son Jesus and The Mother of Jesus, Mother Mary. He says that the Holy angels will never hurt us or lead us astray. When we pray, we are talking to God and spending time getting to know Him. God wants us to pray and spend time with Him. When should you pray? ANY time. ANY where and especially at meal times at is blesses the food going into your body and changes the vibration of it so that it nourishes you in supernatural ways. Why do we pray? to Get to know God and ask for help. Pray freely and speak from your heart! Where do we pray? EVERYWHERE!!! what & how do we pray? The Lord's prayer is a perfect place to start!!! Here it is for reference: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is heaven, Give us this day our daily bread: and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, AMEN. We bring our hands together at heart centre and bow our heads slightly to connect us to our hearts and our breath. This prayer mudra ( sanskrit word for hand gesture) connects our physical self to God energy or Universal life force energy. Prayer centres you and aligns you with the Universe. This is also called a heart seal. When you place your hands in front of your heart, you powerfully connect both the left and right sides of the brain. When you do this and combine it with the word NAMASTE it is symbolic of the coming together the divine masculine and divine feminine powers. As we close this prayer blog, I want to leave you with this fact: PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS ANSWERED in the HIGHEST and GREATEST good. and NOT in the way you THINK. You job is to be Love, Light and experience great joy as you experience this journey we call LIFE. Happy Thursday everyone!! Archangel Gabriel guides me today. He is the amazing archangel of communication. He helps us to speak our truth. You can learn more about him in my book, LOVE YOURSELF TO HEALTH. It is available to purchase for $20. Email me at [email protected] to order yours. Shipping is $10. I wanted to share the guidance that I am getting today. It is very interesting times we are living in. I wanted to use my voice for good. I want to be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem. Last year I got a blessing. At this time last year, I attended Carolyn Myss event here in Calgary. I learned about Holy Language. Holy language is words that you use to call upon the Divine. They hold a reverence to them. Carolyn Myss teaches this principal. "Holy language has many forms of expression: Sacred dance, sacred music, sacred art, and sacred rituals. But in our lives we most often turn to prayer, guidance and grace as our personal vessel to connect with the Sacred. Holy language may well be the oldest language in the world, given its many expressions. Human beings have sensed since the beginning of tribal life that something – some force – greater than themselves was the source of creation. And they honored that Source. Holy language is distinctly different from ordinary language, though many of the words are the same. It stands apart from ordinary language because of our intention and because the words written by the authors of sacred texts were guided by grace. They were written with the intention of bringing grace and illumination to the reader, not information. Understanding the power of holy language can change your life. Holy language has the capacity to inspire you, to open your inner world to guidance, to bring you to a place of resolution, and to help you see your way through a dark night. We turn to holy language when we need healing, when we are in despair, and when we recognize we have been given a miracle. Ordinary language is simply inadequate to communicate the gratitude of the soul.' Prayer is also a part of Holy language. I am a prayer girl and I do believe in the power of words to heal us. Today the angels wanted to share the healing effects of words. Words have energy, power and great impact in our lives. The words we choose, the thoughts we think, and our actions create our lives. We are a part of the divine and that makes a part of us Holy. Everything truly has a holy component. Your speech, depending on the words you use, can emit sparks of love and others feel the impact. the angels want to work with each of us, if we ask them. They want to help us use healing language in everything we say, think, write and in our actions. They can guide us to tune in to our intuition to guide us to the right words. Today they want us to be mindful. What are we saying out loud? thinking? writing? sharing? This is a powerful intention: Dear God and our most Holy Angels, please guide my words today and every day. I ask that I only speak words that is infused with lots of love and highest vibrations. May my words heal and not hurt. Thank you and so it is. Here is a prayer that I wrote in the book 365 Days of Angel Prayers available on amazon. Remember this my friends:
1. God will make a way when there seems there is no way. 2. God is fighting invisible battles. 3. Prayer is the best medicine. 4. Trust God's timing 5. Trust the process of life 6. Have faith 7. Be compassionate 8. Forgive 9. Be loving and kind [email protected] I am booking June angel card sessions NOW. email me to book. Speak, think and write Holy language. What does Holy language look like to you? I would love to hear from you. love, Giuliana Do you have a sacred space in your house? It is very important to have personal space to pray and meditate and acknowledge the Divine. It needs to be somewhere that you feel comfortable and can have some quiet time to close your eyes and sit for a few minutes.
I use my island ledge in my kitchen. This is where I do the majority of my healing. It is a very sacred space to me. I love my house and I love the spirit of my home. Her name is beautiful. Creating an altar in this space inspires you to commune with the Divine. I have invited all the elements on to my altar. I have a diffuser to symbolize air and water, I have candles for fire, I have holy water on it and I have crystals to symbolize earth and two plants for nature and life. I have a goddess statue and I have an angel. I have a silver platter to symbolize the Divine feminine and I have a gold cloth to symbolize the Divine masculine. I have a key to symbolize my Goddess work. Use any flat surface in your home. A tabletop or a shelf will work great. Add items that inspire you, have meaning to you or feel good. This area serves as a focal point for prayer and meditation and over time it becomes very highly charged with positive Divine energy. Create your altar today!! If you have one, tend to it. Are there things you wish to remove, clean or clear? Perhaps you want to add some new energy to it. As you work with the altar, notice what you feel, see, hear and know. Today's affirmation: I will make time to create or tend to my altar as it is a special place for me to connect with my Divine team. It is a safe place for me to pray and meditate and to let go and know that I am supported and loved. Amen and so it is. If I can help you please let me know. email angel card readings until the end of Feb are only $33 CAD. Please let me know if you would like one. They are payable to PayPal.me/GiulianaMelo Namaste. Love and angel blessings Giuliana Melo Happy New Year!! Happy 2019 everyone! Wow! Only two days in to this amazing new year and I am already being guided to make changes in my life.
How is this year feeling for you? Have you made resolutions? or do you set intentions? I no longer set resolutions as they don't work for me. Since 2015 I have set intentions and they have served me well. I got my words for the year a couple of months ago, after asking my angels and listening in to my intuition. Then two weeks ago, they gave me another word. So this year I have four words to guide my year. I received Joy, Journey, and travel early on and then last week the angels guided me to Power! Last night I had to make a decision to leave a group that I no longer feel in alignment with. Last month I had to leave another one. I am already feeling the guidance of my words. Standing in my personal power is going to be so very beneficial. Having boundaries and enforcing them is necessary. I now feel worthy and I feel that I am enough. This hasn't been an easy process and I am grateful to God for the support. Yesterday I did my year angel card reading and I am excited for what this year will bring and I am ready as I have the support of the Divine. I want to leave you with this angel prayer for today:This is the Angel Prayer for January 1 from the Book 365 Days of Angel Prayers available for purchase on Amazon at http://amzn.to/2mQRXFa Archangel Manifestation Prayer By Rev. Jennifer Shackford I call upon the Archangels to pave the way for an abundant future, filled with love, happiness, gratitude and faith. I set the intention this will be the best year of my life. I call upon Archangel Michael for the strength I will need to meet challenges in the year ahead. I call upon Archangel Gabriel for the words and communication needed to pave the way of my truth and desires for my present and future successes and relationships. I call upon and release all to Archangel Raphael to enable processes for healing of my ego and higher self; to no longer allow my past fears to control my present or future. I call upon Archangel Uriel to activate and embrace my true inner power and love; to direct me easily and effortlessly to my soul lessons in this lifetime. I call upon Archangel Raguel to balance all relationships in my life with peace and harmony. Allow me to recognize, accept and release any relationship that is not for my highest and best, to send them gratitude and peace. Dear Archangels, I am always open and willing and deserving of your love and guidance. Blessings of Love. Amen and so it is!! Happy 2019 everyone! If I can be of service for an email, video or in person reading, please email me to book.[email protected] Prayer What is prayer? God has established prayer as the means by which we receive his supernatural help. Prayer = faith in a higher power. Prayer plugs us in to that Power. Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship through deliberate communication. Prayer can be a form of religious practice, may be either individual or communal and take place in public or in private. It may involve the use of words, song or complete silence. Why do we pray?
I have always prayed. I always thought others prayers held a higher importance than mine. Then one day I was told that mine were just as important and I became giddy with excitement that I too would be heard by God in my prayers. Ever since I was a little girl, the prayers I say daily are: Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen. The Lord's Prayer The Lord's Prayer is one of the best loved and most spoken prayers on the planet. New Version Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. The Lord's Prayer Traditional (Old) version Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen. (Taken from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer, 1662). Angel of God Angel of God My guardian dear To Whom His love Commits me here Ever this day Be at my side To light and guard To rule and guide. Amen. A couple of prayers that I say are the Novena and the Rosary. A Novena is a nine day or a nine hour prayer that you say for intercessory needs. It is incredibly powerful. Those that pray a novena set an intention- mostly for healing. Surrender to God and trust that your prayers are heard and are answered for our highest best good. They are not answered in the way we expect but in a way that is in Divine will for our lives. We are always supported. Pray with a sincere open heart. Choose a dedicated time to pray each day.
Why a Novena? When Jesus ascended into Heaven, Mary and the apostles and other disciples prayed constantly for 9 days until Pentecost Sunday.
How To Pray the Rosary: www.ewtn.com/Devotionals/prayers/rosary/how_to.htm While the rosary and the indulgences attached to it by the Church essentially concerns the decades and the meditation upon the mysteries only, the following is a customary way of preparing for the rosary and concluding it. 1. Preparation Start by making the sign of the Cross: In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Then recite the Apostle's Creed: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen. Then say 1 Our Father, 3 Hail Marys (for the virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity) and then 1 Glory Be: Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death. Amen. GLORY BE to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. 2. The Rosary Proper The Rosary is essentially the decades and their associated mysteries, and only these must be prayed to "pray the rosary", either in satisfaction of Our Lady's requests, or, to gain the indulgences attached to praying the rosary. The traditional Rosary is divided into three parts, each having five mysteries: Glorious, Joyful and Sorrowful. In his apostolic letter The Rosary of the Virgin Mary, Pope John Paul II proposed a new set of mysteries, which he called the Luminous, and which concern the period of the public life of Our Lord. For those who wish to say all 20 decades at once during the course of a day, they may be said in the following order: Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious. For those who wish to say only 5 decades per day, the Holy Father proposed the following schedule: MondayTuesdayWednesdayThursday FridaySaturdaySunday JoyfulSorrowfulGlorious LuminousSorrowfulJoyful GloriousFor those who prefer to follow the traditional order of the days it is: MondayTuesdayWednesdayThursday FridaySaturdaySunday JoyfulSorrowfulGlorious JoyfulSorrowfulGlorious GloriousWhile meditating on the Mysteries, recite: One Our Father (large beads), 10 Hail Marys (small beads) and 1 Glory Be (before the next large bead) to make a complete decade of the rosary. After each decade the Fátima Prayer may also be said (Pope Pius XII). O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy. 3. Concluding Prayers After the completion of five mysteries (5 decades), or 15 or 20, the following is customarily said: Hail Holy Queen (or Salve Regina may be sung) Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile show us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.(Verse) Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. (Response) That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Rosary Prayer (Verse) Let us pray, (Response) O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation. Grant, we beseech Thee, that while meditating on these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, that we may both imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through Christ our Lord. Amen. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. 4. For the Intentions of the Holy Father Catholics who say the rosary in a group, or, individually before the Blessed Sacrament, may gain a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions, which includes prayer for the intentions of the Holy Father. For the intentions of the Holy Father. Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Question: "What are the different types of prayer?" Answer: The Bible reveals many types of prayers and employs a variety of words to describe the practice. For example, 1 Timothy 2:1 says, “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.” Here, all four of the main Greek words used for prayer are mentioned in one verse. Here are the main types of prayers in the Bible: The prayer of faith: James 5:15 says, “And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.” In this context, prayer is offered in faith for someone who is sick, asking God to heal. When we pray, we are to believe in the power and goodness of God (Mark 9:23). The prayer of agreement (also known as corporate prayer): After Jesus’ ascension, the disciples “all joined together constantly in prayer” (Acts 1:14). Later, after Pentecost, the early church “devoted themselves” to prayer (Acts 2:42). Their example encourages us to pray with others. The prayer of request (or supplication): We are to take our requests to God. Philippians 4:6 teaches, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Part of winning the spiritual battle is to be “praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication” (Ephesians 6:18). The prayer of thanksgiving: We see another type of prayer in Philippians 4:6: thanksgiving or thanks to God. “With thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Many examples of thanksgiving prayers can be found in the Psalms. The prayer of worship: The prayer of worship is similar to the prayer of thanksgiving. The difference is that worship focuses on who God is; thanksgiving focuses on what God has done. Church leaders in Antioch prayed in this manner with fasting: “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off” (Acts 13:2-3). The prayer of consecration: Sometimes, prayer is a time of setting ourselves apart to follow God’s will. Jesus made such a prayer the night before His crucifixion: “And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, ‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will’” (Matthew 26:39). The prayer of intercession: Many times, our prayers include requests for others as we intercede for them. We are told to make intercession “for everyone” in 1 Timothy 2:1. Jesus serves as our example in this area. The whole of John 17 is a prayer of Jesus on behalf of His disciples and all believers. The prayer of imprecation: Imprecatory prayers are found in the Psalms (e.g., 7, 55, 69). They are used to invoke God’s judgment on the wicked and thereby avenge the righteous. The psalmists use this type of appeal to emphasize the holiness of God and the surety of His judgment. Jesus teaches us to pray for blessing on our enemies, not cursing (Matthew 5:44-48). The Bible also speaks of praying in the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:14-15) and prayers when we are unable to think of adequate words (Romans 8:26-27). In those times, the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us. Prayer is conversation with God and should be made without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). As we grow in our love for Jesus Christ, we will naturally desire to talk to Him. Prayers are Powerful help. If I can be of prayer support please join my group and prayer community here: www.facebook.com/groups/PrayerWarriorsDivineDistrict/ If I can be of support with an angel card reading please email me. Love and Prayers, Giuliana With all the forest fires burning in BC, I found this message very poignant right now.
" It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke, and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell." James 3:5-6 the message. As children of God, we can use our mouths and the power of our words to heal relationships or destroy them. The Scripture above shows how major problems are birthed by something as simple as wrong words- a tiny spark can cause an entire forest to catch fire, just a single word can hurt many people. Once we have said something, we cannot take it back. We must be very careful about what we say. If you have said unkind things, apologize, seek forgiveness, and begin to use the right words in your life and your relationships. POWER THOUGHT: I am very careful about what I say because my words have power. Last January 2016, I said something I should not have. As a child of God and as a good person, I apologized, not only once, but three times. I have forgiven myself and I have moved on. I have left this at the foot of the cross with Jesus, however I have not been forgiven by these people who are close to my husband. I have done a lot of work to heal and show up a better person. I am very careful of what I put out now. My intention is to heal, not harm. I am human with a soul that is perfect, whole and complete. I stand in my power and I do my work to heal. I will no longer be a doormat. Some people are so used to me always being the peacemaker and as such I never used my voice. Part of the lesson from this was an unkind word that was said that set off a series of lessons. In January 2018 it will be two years since my sisters in law decided that I was no longer worthy of their care. The thing is, now that I love myself I see that I had to love me enough to keep walking forward. God is in control and my hands are off the wheel. I am learning the power of forgiveness, compassion, faith, trust and unconditional love. These are the five lessons of earth school and some of us are more advanced in learning than others. I have had to learn to live a spirit based life full of love. I have had to be like a tree and let the dead leaves fall. It has been a journey of great expansion. I have had great teachers!! They taught me that being selfish isn't really a bad thing. In fact- it is a blessing!! Now I love me so much!! I will never go back to the old way of life. Once you expand and grow you are forever changed. What has changed, however, is my husband's clarity. He is seeing in a whole new light and our relationship is better than ever! Thank you God. So like this fire burning out of control, make sure that your sparks ( words) heal and not harm. Give the relationship over to God and allow him to work on the hearts of all the people involved. Let go and let God. A Course in Miracles teaches that you can have a grievance or you can have a miracle. You can not have both!!! I choose miracles. Thank you God for all my blessings!! I am a very rich woman!! I am rich with love. I am rich with faith. I am rich with trust. I am rich with my family. I am rich with friends. I am rich with teachers. I am rich with knowledge. Does this blog resonate with you? Would you love to chat with me over tea and perhaps pull some angel card messages? or messages from Jesus? let me know. I love you all. I leave you with this: Ho'oponoponoI Love You, I'm Sorry, Forgive Me, Thank You!!! Today in Sunny Dawn Johnston's 44 day mind, body, spirit detox the topic is releasing FEAR. I am always working on releasing fear. I trust God. I trust that He is guiding me. I trust that the angels will help me with everything. Grant us the awareness of the healing needs of those around us and the compassion to respond willingly to those needs. how may I be of service today dear Father? Guide my steps to be those that are pleasing to you and you alone. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Our Healer and the Source of all Hope. May the light and love and the healing be ours. Amen. "I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will heal you." 2 Kings 20:5 The miracle of Lourdes. It all begain in 1858, at a grotto near a village in southwest France. Mary appeared 18 times to a young woman named Bernadette Soubirous, announcing, "I am the Immaculate Conception." Mary helped Bernadette discover a hidden spring in the grotto. That spring was soon to become a fountain of faith, hope and healing for millions of pilgrims who visit there each year. Lourdes truly is a place of healing. The church recognizes 69 miraculous cures there, and thousands more have been reported. And for many others, Lourdes is the place where they have found peace in coming to understand and accept God's will for them. To all who are sick in body or spirit, the Lord brings hope and comfort through our Lady of Lourdes. The Hail Mary Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Guardian Angel Prayer Angel of God my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here. Ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen. Thank you GOD for everything. These have been the prayers that I say daily since a little girl. I know the power of prayer. God loves us so much and just wants us to talk to him. Get quiet and speak from your soul. He will listen. |
